GREEN WANDERLUST // FRANCE GUIDES
Looking for a breath of fresh air in one of the most beautiful gardens in the world, right outside of Paris? Search no more! Here’s how it all happened and what we learned out on the farm!
Although lately I’ve been based in Paris, I’m not one for cities. I love green open spaces and as a way to escape the hustle and bustle, I’ve put in place a weekly ritual to escape the city and find refuge in nature. In this series of articles, you’ll find ideas and recounts of my experiences exploring the various options for day trips from Paris! This week is about two forest hikes around Paris: Fontainebleau and Ermenonville.
Today, I will be taking you along for a scenic 2 days hiking itinerary, amidst the Pyrenee’s most famous and beloved natural site, the Cirque de Gavarnie. Most famous for its sharp granite peaks and being home to the endangered brown bears, this mountain range transforms into a true hiker’s paradise in the summer! Wait until you see the photos!
